Stays of two nights or less require total payment to confirm reservation. Stays of three nights or more require a 50% deposit to confirm a reservation. Reservations made within 21 days of arrival require full payment at time of reservation.
Deposits are refunded, less a $20.00 per room cancellation fee, with a 21-day notice of cancellation. Otherwise, deposits are refunded only if all same type rooms are rented. If you arrive late or leave early, you are responsible for the full amount of your reservation, unless all same type rooms are rented (per room cancellation fee will still apply).
*Suites require a deposit of 100% to confirm a reservation, regardless of length of stay, and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee with a 45-day notice of cancellation.
During High Season, one night stays are subject to a $5.00 per person service charge. We reserve the right to require a two night minimum stay during High Season.
Group reservations require special handling. Please contact us to discuss our group booking policies.
Although we prefer deposits be made via personal check or eCheck, we gladly accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover as well.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.
We graciously ask that guests keep noise to a minimum between 10 pm and 6 am so as not to disturb others.
The Monhegan House is a completely smoke-free property. Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the grounds of the hotel or the Novelty, including in the buildings, on the porches or fire escape, on the lawn or at the picnic tables.
